The Boy Mom Bakery
Our Story

Briana calls herself the mama behind the treats. She is a stay-at-home mom to two boys, and in June 2026 she introduced The Boy Mom Bakery as a way to bring in a little extra income for her family while still being home with them, doing something she loves. Baking has always been her joy, and she says food has always been her love language. Through the summer and into September she worked out of her own kitchen, posting new cakesicle designs, a rose-piped cookie cake, football cake pops for game days, and taking porch pickups, still learning and, in her words, having way too much fun.
At the end of September the turquoise cart arrived. It sits in the driveway at the side of the house on Marymont Drive, with the bakery's logo on the front and a price sheet on the lid, and it runs on the honor system: open the lid, pick your treats, add up your total and pay. For the first few weeks there was no cash box, so neighbors tucked their money under a towel, and the day the box finally came she celebrated it like the milestone it was. Early on she wrote that the bakery started as an idea she wasn't even sure would work, and that sometimes you just have to start before you feel ready and keep showing up. She has kept showing up nearly every day since, posting what is left and how late the cart will stay out.
The lineup changes almost every week and follows whatever her family and her followers are excited about: Toy Story treats the week her little guy turned three, a Little Debbie week with Honey Bun and Cosmic Brownie, Frankenstein and mummy cookie cakes for Halloween. When Red Velvet sold out, people asked for it, and it came back. In October she carried treats to the labor and delivery and NICU teams who cared for her boys. In November she booked her first indoor market, the Stewarts Creek Middle School Holiday Craft Fair. What started as a side hustle is, as she puts it, this boy mom's little dream, and Murfreesboro keeps stopping by the turquoise cart to be part of it.
There's something special about making something with your own hands and seeing it bring happiness to someone else.
