3 Frenchies Bakery
Our Story

3 Frenchies Bakery is Courtney McKenney's small-batch sourdough labor of love, run out of her home kitchen in Smyrna and sold fresh at weekend farmers markets. And yes, the name is the dogs: it is named for three very food-motivated French Bulldogs, not French pastry.
Everything is made the slow way. Each loaf is mixed, shaped, and scored by hand, with no commercial yeast and no shortcuts, just flour, water, salt, and a roughly two-day slow fermentation. The result is the kind of crackly-crust, tender-crumb sourdough that is hard to find outside of someone's actual kitchen.
Beyond the signature loaves, Courtney bakes flavored sourdoughs, focaccia, brioche rolls, muffins, scones, cookies, and a rotating shelf of small-batch jams and spreads. You order online during the week and pick it up fresh at the market. It is a true passion project, and it tastes like it.
