Joanie’s
Our Story

Joanie's is a from-scratch cafe and restaurant in Murfreesboro with a name that means everything to its owner. Jason Day renamed his restaurant in honor of his late mother, Joan, who passed away while he was building the downtown location. He calls her a she-ro who raised six children and battled cancer five times. You can feel that heart in the place.
The food is made to order all day, gourmet coffee, scratch-made crepes, bagel sandwiches, burgers, quesadillas, and a full breakfast-through-dinner menu, with a playful twist: dishes are named after favorite TV and film characters. There are signature mimosas and craft beer too, and gluten-free options throughout.
With locations on St. Andrews and right on the downtown Public Square, Joanie's has become a local favorite, a Ruthie award winner, and was even featured on America's Best Restaurants. Beautiful space, friendly people, and food that tastes like someone cared.
Tried the Banana foster white chocolate mocha iced and it was sooooooo good! This is my family’s favorite place!
Photos coming soon, we’re working with Joanie’s to share their space with you.
