Everybody here has the same problem. You need a plumber, a photographer, somebody to look at your knee, and you end up guessing from a page of stars left by total strangers. I have walked into every one of these businesses myself, and once a month I tell you what I found.

Why they started, what they almost did instead, and the thing they are quietly best in the county at. I ask, they answer, and I write down what they said.

Whoever just opened, before everybody else finds them
New businesses land here before they have reviews, before they have a marketing budget, and usually before they have a sign. You hear about them first.

What they are giving away that month, which nobody else lists
A first class free, a consultation, a discount they are not advertising anywhere else. These exist already and almost nobody sees them, so once a month I put them all in one place.

The one thing worth leaving the house for
A market, an opening, a night that is actually worth it. I pick one, so you never have to read a whole calendar.

Short, and never a pitch. I am in these shops every week, and I will tell you what I am working on, because that is the honest part of why this exists.
