In 2018, Dan and Kathy Root moved their family to Middle Tennessee to be closer to family and put down roots of their own. What they built here is SYNERGY HomeCare of Murfreesboro, an in-home care company shaped by the two things their upbringing taught them: listen first, and make a real difference in someone's day. Kathy's instinct to care for others traces back to her childhood in the Philippines, where looking after family came before everything else. She started her career as a registered nurse before joining Dan to build the business.

SYNERGY's caregivers help seniors and adults stay safe and independent in their own homes. That means the everyday things, bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, and companionship, along with specialized support for Alzheimer's and dementia, recovery after a hospital stay, cancer care, and veteran home care. They build the schedule around the family, whether it is a few hours a week or ongoing daily care.

The team serves families across Rutherford County and the surrounding area, including Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Eagleville, Rockvale, College Grove, and Arrington.
