Mr. Brews Taphouse (Smyrna)

Marty and Mindi Bell opened their first Mr. Brews Taphouse on Franklin Road in Murfreesboro, and after it found its footing they brought a second one to Sam Ridley Parkway in Smyrna in the fall of 2025.

Marty is a Navy veteran who spent twenty five years in the rental car business and has given a lot of years to the Boy Scouts. Mindi is a physical therapist at a local hospital, she started the high school PTO, and she served as Scoutmaster of the first all female Scouts BSA troop in Rutherford County.

They run it as a neighborhood taphouse, veteran and female owned, with a rotating wall of local, regional and national craft beer and burgers made fresh to order. There is a full kids menu, trivia on Monday nights and bingo on Wednesdays, so it works for a family dinner and for a seat at the bar.
