Firehouse Labor Co.

Everyone who carries a box for Firehouse Labor Co. already has a job that matters more: they're firefighters. Schylar Burgess' company is built around the rhythm of the fire service, where a long shift is followed by days off, and he gave the men and women he serves beside a way to spend some of those days earning extra with a crew they already trust. About ninety five percent of the crew either lives in Rutherford County or works for a local department, so the people walking through your front door are your neighbors, and they're used to being trusted inside other people's homes.

You can see the firehouse in how they work. One crew member pads a mirrored dresser while another wraps the door frames in cardboard before anything heavy moves, and nobody has to be told what comes next. They handle local moves start to finish, put beds and bookshelves back together on the other end, hang the TV and the artwork, and will happily load or unload a rental truck if that's all you need.

The part people remember is the patience. Richard hired them to move his father's furniture from Murfreesboro to Brentwood, and the day turned into two trips. He wrote that it was completely his fault, and that Schylar and Jamie "handled it without any problem," stayed careful with his dad's things, and "never made us feel rushed." Moving a parent is a hard day in any family, and that's the kind of crew you want on it.
