Tree Ring Legal is Katie Clark's estate-planning and probate practice, built on a simple idea she puts right on the homepage: planning with you at the center. A Belmont Law graduate licensed in Tennessee, Katie helps families and individuals put wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and end-of-life plans in place, the things people put off out of fear or discomfort.

What makes her different is how approachable she makes it. She comes from a family of entrepreneurs and self-starters rather than a legal lineage, and she prioritizes your comfort over formality. She has been known to use songs to teach clients the concepts, all so that estate planning feels less like a scary chore and more like taking care of the people you love.

Tree Ring Legal is a mobile practice, Katie meets you in your own home or wherever you are most comfortable across Middle Tennessee. Local to the bone, she serves on the Friends of Smyrna Library board and chairs the annual Run to Read event.
